Counseling & Psychotherapy for Women

As women, we often feel unheard, misunderstood, judged, disrespected, guilty or ashamed. The feminist in me wants to point my finger at society, but as a woman and a therapist I know that would be giving away all the power. I know for a fact that each and every one of us possesses the ability to take the reigns and change our lives - to let go of our past, to demand the life we want and to start living it right away.

You can let go of the confusion and the pain. I'll teach you how.

Here is a glimpse into some common issues women come see me for.

Often times, someone will start treatment for something specific and then we realize there are additional factors at work. When this happens, you can count on me to stay with you and treat these things as well. Some of them include: PTSD, difficult childhood experiences, impacts of parental substance abuse and so much more. If you're struggling with something not included here, please reach out and let me know what it is. I'll most likely still be able to help you and if I can't, I promise to help you find someone who can.
